A community has been worshipping here since 1426 so we are continuing a very long tradition! Although close to Newton Abbot, Highweek village has a strong sense of community and the church is very much the spiritual centre. The church has a wonderful location, atop a hill with panoramic views and the interior is warm and welcoming. No surprise then that it is popular for weddings and other life event occasions!

4th Sunday | Holy Communion |
For Holy Communion we use a form of service called Common Worship. This is the main book used for Church of England services and the language is contemporary. If you are unfamiliar with that, let us assure you that all are welcome to come along. We mark the major festivals and seasons of the church calendar throughout the year. We sing hymns accompanied by choir and organ. There is a children’s corner with playthings for use during the services.
Please come along and join us! Stay for a chat over coffee/tea and biscuits.
We regularly join in social activites organised by the other churches in the parishes.
