St Mary's, Wolborough

Our historic church sits on the edge of the town surrounded by fields.  Dating from 15th century, it maintains a tranquil country parish church atmosphere and its bells ring out regularly over the town.  You can read more about the history of the building HERE

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month at 11am.  Everyone is welcome at these services, even if you are not familiar with the style of worship.  Please stay for coffee/tea afterwards!

Thank you to Keith and Sharon for a memorable Service on Remembrance Day. Another excellent Sermon Keith and how kind of you to remember our late organist, Denis Tyler (photo below), and choosing the Hymns he played last year. Superb, popular Hymns and so appropriate for the day. St Mary’s looked magnificent thank you Sharon and also thanks to Jill Frankland for the Poppy arrangement/s. Another very special Service at St Mary’s THANK YOU. We would love to find out more about the many fallen remembered - photos, Christian Names, ages.
