Abbotsbury Church is home to a growing group of Christians, with a passion to love Jesus and serve the community in a fresh way.
Although the building is beautiful, Abbotsbury Church is about more than that. It’s about the people. And everyone is welcome. We LOVE having children in our church family. So if you have kids, relax - it doesn’t matter if they make a bit of noise. Children go out for their own teaching programme for part of the service, except on the third Sunday when we all stay together. There is a play area for small children at the back of the church.
Couples, singles, students, grandparents… you’re all welcome too.
We believe church should be a place full of hope, faith, friendship and discovery – often with coffee and cake. So, if you’re looking for something more in life, or you’re struggling with life’s big questions… come on in.
The talks and some services are streamed and recorded. So you can even take a look at us before you come along!

WHEN WE MEET
Our Sunday gathering is at 9.30am and it’s short, contemporary and informal. Stay for conversation over a coffee afterwards.

Home Groups meet fortnightly for discussion, friendship and prayer

What's New at Abbotsbury?
Introducing our new Pastoral Support Team
We’re pleased to share that a new Pastoral Support Team has been formed to help care for the spiritual and practical needs of our church family. This small group of four members has been prayerfully called to support, encourage, and respond to those in need within our community. We are Rob, Bernice, Sandra and Stella.
Whether you’re going through a difficult time, need a listening ear, or simply want someone to pray with you, the Pastoral Support Team is here to help. If you are new to our church, we would love to get to know you and offer you a warm welcome.
