Welcome to St Mary's Church, Wolborough.

Our historic church sits on the edge of the town surrounded by fields.  Dating from 15th century, it maintains a tranquil country parish church atmosphere and its bells ring out regularly over the town.  You can read more about the history of the building HERE

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month at 11am.  Everyone is welcome at these services, even if you are not familiar with the style of worship.  Please stay for coffee/tea afterwards!

On the 1st Sunday 11am we have Matins.  This is a service of prayer and praise to begin the day.

On the 3rd Sunday 11am we have Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer.  Here we listen to God's word, we give thanks over bread and wine for all that Jesus has done and continues to do for us, and we remember the meal Jesus shared with his disciples on the night before he died.

We sing hymns accompanied by the organ.

There is a children's play area at the back of the church
